Our fees depend on the number of employees and the services you need. The amounts below are monthly guidelines for companies that employ foreign staff. Tax is not included. We will send you a formal quotation after we learn about your situation.

 

Advisory Plan: HR consultation only

For companies that do their own paperwork and want expert advice when they need it.

• Up to 30 employees: ¥50,000 per month

• 31 to 100 employees: ¥70,000 per month

• 101 or more: please ask

 

Standard Plan: HR consultation + procedures

For companies that want us to handle the paperwork for new staff, leaving staff and other notices.

• Up to 5 employees: ¥35,000 to ¥45,000 per month

• 6 to 10 employees: ¥50,000 to ¥65,000 per month

• 11 to 20 employees: ¥60,000 to ¥80,000 per month

• 21 to 30 employees: ¥70,000 to ¥95,000 per month

• 31 to 50 employees: ¥90,000 to ¥135,000 per month

• 51 or more: please ask

 

Total Plan: HR consultation + procedures + payroll

Standard Plan fee + payroll (¥10,000 per month + ¥1,000 per employee). We accept payroll depending on the season and the number of employees. Payroll covers one pay run per month and does not include adding up timecards. Bonus calculations and extra pay runs cost extra. Year-end tax adjustment is done together with your tax accountant.

 

All plans include checking employment contracts in English, and notices and advice about foreign staff. Where a range is shown, the fee depends on the number of foreign staff.

 

Seasonal fees

If your staff numbers change a lot between summer and winter, we can set separate summer and winter fees, based on the highest number of staff in each season. If you go over that number, we add the following per extra employee per month: Advisory Plan, no extra charge; Standard Plan, ¥1,500; Total Plan, ¥2,000.

 

Examples

• Restaurant, 10 employees (2 foreign staff), Standard Plan: ¥51,000 per month

• Resort hotel, up to 30 staff in summer and 50 in winter, Total Plan: ¥115,000 in summer / ¥165,000 in winter per month

• International company, 60 employees, Advisory Plan: ¥70,000 per month

 

Not included in the monthly fee

• Resident tax procedures (we do not handle these)

• Annual labour insurance declaration and social insurance base report: charged separately at client rates (about one month's fee)

• Work rules, new registrations and subsidy applications: see Options below

 

Spot services (for companies without a plan)

We give priority to our clients, so we may not be able to accept spot requests when we are busy.

• Paperwork for a new or leaving employee (per person, per insurance): from ¥10,000

• Annual labour insurance declaration: from ¥50,000 (+¥1,000 per employee over 20)

• Social insurance base report: from ¥50,000 (+¥1,000 per employee over 20)

• Opening or closing labour or social insurance (each): from ¥50,000

 

Options (clients / companies without a plan)

• Writing work rules: from ¥200,000 / from ¥250,000

• Updating work rules: from ¥60,000 / from ¥80,000

• English translation of work rules: quotation

• Opening or closing insurance (each): from ¥30,000 / from ¥50,000

• Subsidy applications: from 18% of the subsidy (generally for clients only)

• Setting up an attendance system: from ¥50,000 (clients only)

• Attending a labour inspection: from ¥100,000 (clients only)

• HR system design: quotation (clients only)
